I would give them a negative star review if available. I spoke to Brian on the phone regarding setting up a pool service call during which he suggested I come in and bring some water to sample (standard pool maintenance step) while I waited for a call back to set up an appointment / this call was 9 mins in length going over the issues and giving contact information etc.

Since I have been dealing with a green pool all season after following their advice and seeing no results, I thought this couldnt hurt since I had tried everything they had suggested to this point with no results all while continuing buying hundreds of dollars of shock, etc ( and softener salt) from them to this point. During the water test results Brian asked me to write down his suggestion and during which explained that I should use a few products plus a case of shock. I suggested that I should take 4 cases of shock versus a case when out of no where the owner walks up and says interrupting our 5 minute discussion and test results review saying very rudely to me if you're not going to listen to him get out. Shocked, I said I was listening and that I simply needed more chemicals than he suggested. He further went on to say if you arent going to buy something right now I need you to leave because Brian has to do some work. He continues by saying hes already spent a half of an hour on the phone with you earlier / only 9 minutes on my iphone log/ and I was the only customer in the place for obvious reasons I must be the only one who continues dealing with their rudeness. Considering the rest of the staff were sitting at a table behind me and there were no customers I cant imagine what work was more important than selling a couple of hundred of dollars worth of products. But then again it occurred to me this person should not be interacting with customers owner or not. I left.

Strange that this business is still in business. I don't care if they are giving products away they are not worth the rudeness and complete unprofessionalism. We need to support area businesses who treat everyone with respect.

As they say all things happen for a reason, turns out they do not know what they are doing as far as pool maintenance, product sales recommendations and have no professional certification nor do any of them even own a pool to understand the day to day issues that go on and have no professional reason to claim they can do this work. I have been managing my 43,000 gallon pool for l5 years and will rely on other area professional pool service companies or order what I need online.

Also sadly it is an important structure in our Rochester area's heritage, they should respect the building and keep it in good shape. Walking in you get the feeling the building may collapse at any point and not in a historic building kind of way.. they simply do not maintain the building.. further the amount of dirt and disorganization leaves you wondering why you are there.

Avoid Rochester Elevator at all costs.
